Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the third-party company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its own results. Andrew County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be kept long enough to answer and maintain the related exchange. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the website’s systems may receive routine technical information about that visit:
- Page-view dates, times, and visit duration

- Device class and operating system
- Internet Protocol address assigned to the device
- Pages viewed during the visit
- A referring website, when one is supplied

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Andrew County Criminal History does not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to the Andrew County Sheriff’s Office, Circuit Court, Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and Missouri Sex Offender Registry. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal-history files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted to one of those tools is governed by that company’s privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. This policy does not control a partner’s handling of a query, so review the provider’s terms before submission.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Andrew County Sheriff, Missouri courts, state agencies, legal resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination’s privacy practices govern that visit. Read them before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to observe activity across websites and select targeted ads. Their technology and policies control that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Analytics providers measuring use and performance
- Search partners processing a query sent to their tool

How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard security measures protect information collected through the website. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed secure, and the operator cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. Information identified as belonging to a minor will be removed after notice and verification.
Your Data Rights
Rights over personal data depend on the law that applies to the visitor and the requested processing. Missouri government-record access is governed by the Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 RSMo, while dissemination from the state criminal-history repository is addressed by section 43.540 RSMo. Those laws govern official records, not a private site’s possession of government files. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:

- Ask what personal information the site retains
- Object to or opt out of processing where the law provides that right
- Request deletion when retention is not legally required
